Soraia F Paulo
Biography
Soraia holds a Master’s in Biomedical Engineering from Universidade Nova de Lisboa. She is working on a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa at the Interactive Technologies Institute.
Soraia’s research focuses on human-computer interaction within healthcare contexts. Previous work involved visualising and manipulating medical imagery, leveraging VR/AR technologies and touchless interaction. Currently, she is interested in exploring LLM-based tools to support collaboration and enhance the performance of multidisciplinary cancer teams through efficient, high-quality medical documentation production.
