Biography

Afonso Muller e Sousa Castelão holds an Undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa and is finishing a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering on the same university.

He is currently working on a thesis with professor Daniel Lopes, his advisor. The thesis consists in developing an application that through the use of Natural Language Processing tools and Virtual Reality is able to extract information from textual data and summarize it in interactive three-dimensional Mind Maps displayed in a VR environment.
