Alexandra Reis

Biography

Alexandra Reis (she/her) holds a Bachelor’s degree in Educational Sciences from the University of Madeira and a Master’s degree in Crime, Difference and Inequality from the University of Minho.
She worked as a Policy Advisor for Education and Culture at the European Parliament in Brussels. After returning to Portugal, she collaborated with Iniciativa Educação, an organisation focused on advancing and promoting vocational education and training (VET) nationwide. She later served as an advisor to the Education Committee of the Portuguese Parliament, supporting policy analysis and legislative initiatives in the education sector. Alexandra also brings experience from the study abroad field, where she held administrative roles in higher education and international education programmes. In February 2026, she joined ITI/LARSyS as a Project Manager Assistant, reinforcing the Madeira team and contributing to the coordination and implementation of projects.
