Biography

Beatrice Maggipinto holds a Bachelor’s degree in Design and Arts from the Free University of Bolzano and a Master’s in Sustainable Design from the University of Brighton. She is currently enrolled in the Dual Degree PhD CMU Portugal Program.

After working in the advertising industry as a Creative Director, where she led award-winning campaigns for global clients, she moved on to work on environmental campaigning projects with WWF and Greenpeace. She worked internationally, living between the UK, Italy, Germany and Indonesia. This experience inspired her to go back to education and find better ways of educating audiences on the importance of protecting oceans in the climate change discourse through play, games and immersive experiences.
