Biography

Beatriz Ferreira is currently on the third year of the Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico (IST). Alongside her academic journey, Beatriz recently joined the Interactive Technologies Institute (ITI/LARSyS) as a Research Fellow.

At ITI she contributes to the EU-funded RELISH project. Her work focuses on mobile application development for a seasonal ingredient recommendation system. Beatriz is responsible for building interactive chat features, implementing user authentication and developing social functionalities such as user feeds and profiles. She also contributes to the app’s overall user interface design and cross-device testing to ensure a seamless user experience.
