Biography

Catherine Cleophace Ngirwa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information and Communication Technology and Management from Mzumbe University, and a Master’s in Information and Communication Sciences and Engineering from the Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology.
She is currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Engineering at the Further Energy and Environment Research Laboratory (FEELab), ITI/LARSyS, University of Madeira, under the supervision of Dr. Lucas Pereira. Her doctoral research focuses on evaluating user interaction methodologies for next-generation energy technologies. Catherine has extensive experience in conducting user studies and assessing multidimensional aspects of user evaluation.
