Cíntia França
Biography
Cíntia França holds a PhD in Sport Sciences from the University of Coimbra and a Master’s in Physical Education Teaching from the University of Madeira. She is a collaborative member of the Interactive Technologies Institute (ITI) and the Research Center in Sports Sciences, Health Sciences, and Human Development (CIDESD). Her research interests mainly concern children and adolescents’ physical activity and sports participation levels. She has also developed some research based on technology to assess and monitor elite players during the season, particularly in football. Currently, she is an invited auxiliary professor at the University of Madeira in different courses related to sports and physical education.
