Biography

Diana Pimentel (she/her) holds a PhD in Biology (2020) from the Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa and an MSc in Statistics for Data Science (2022) from the Universidade do Minho. She is currently a junior researcher at ITI/LARSyS, integrated in the RELISH project. Previously, she was a junior researcher at LASIGE, FCUL, where she explored text-entry metrics as digital biomarkers in health monitoring.
Within the RELISH project, she works in the intersection of Human-Computer Interaction and digital cultural heritage in gastronomy. Her broader research interests span HCI, data visualisation, and data-driven tools for societal impact.
