Biography

Fábio Nunes holds a Bachelor’s degree in Informatics Engineering from the University of Madeira and is currently completing a Master’s degree in the same field at the same institution.

He is presently working on his Master’s thesis titled “Using Virtual Environments for Sports Performance Optimization in Stressful Situations.” His research focuses on the use of Virtual Reality as a training tool to help athletes and sports practitioners cope with high-pressure competitive scenarios. Specifically, he is exploring the application of the Quiet-Eye Training Technique, which aims to enhance performance under stress by improving focus.
