Biography

Filipe Quintal is an CS Engineer, and adjunct lecturer at the University of Madeira, the same university where he completed the Ph.D. “Exploring the dimensions of eco-feedback in the wild”. Filipe is also a post-doctorate researcher at the Madeira Interactive Technologies Institute. Most of his research is focused in energy, sustainability and the role of computer science in those fields. He also works in the fields of Human-Vehicle interaction studying feedback modalities to assure safe driving, and safe transition between automated and manual driving.
