Frederica Gonçalves
Biography
Has a degree in Computer Science, an Executive MBA in International Business Management, and a PhD in Computer Science Specialization in Human-Computer Interaction. She is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Madeira. She is a member of the board of directors of the Agency for Innovation and Modernization of the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
FG has published peer-reviewed papers in the fields of HCI, participated in the program committee of international conferences, and had leading roles in organising conferences of this type. FG is also a member of IFIP’s Human-Computer Interaction (TC13) 13.6 HWID (Human Work Interaction Design) working group since October 2014, and currently, she is a secretary officer. FG is a member of the eGames Lab project. At a scientific level, the effort has focused on the establishment of autonomous applied research groups in human-computer interaction, tools to support creativity, persuasive computing, gaming, human work interaction design, user experiences, increased cognitive and mental well-being in health and tourism, and more recently on digital transition/transformation in public administration.
