Frederica Gonçalves


Biography
Has a degree in Computer Science, an Executive MBA in International Business Management, and a PhD in Computer Science Specialization in Human-Computer Interaction. She is Adjunct Professor at University of Madeira. Currently she holds the position of member of the board of directors of the Agency for Innovation and Modernization of the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
FG has published peer-reviewed papers in the fields of HCI and has participated in the program committee of international conferences and had leading roles in organizing conferences of this type. FG is also member of IFIP’s Human-Computer Interaction (TC13) 13.6 HWID (Human Work Interaction Design) working group, since October 2014, and currently she is secretary officer. FG is a member of the eGames Lab project. At a scientific level, the effort has focused on the establishment of autonomous applied research groups in human-computer interaction, tools to support creativity, persuasive computing, gaming, human work interaction design, user experiences, increased cognitive and mental well-being in health and/or tourism, and more recently on digital transition/transformation in public administration.
