Inês Rodrigues
Biography
Inês (she/her) holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Accounting and a Master’s degree in Management Control, both completed at ISCAC in Coimbra. Her academic background focused on organizational management and process optimization, with emphasis on programming tools, which led to her interest in computer science. She is currently a PhD candidate in Computer Engineering, specializing in Human-Computer Interaction.
Her work at ITI is integrated in the OPTIMa project. She focuses on WP2 and WP4, namely LLM Tuning and Recommendation Systems and Cultural Storytelling & Knowledge Dissemination. Her research aims to develop and evaluate an intelligent recommendation and digital storytelling system, supported by language models and RAG methodologies, to enhance Madeira’s cultural heritage and promote more sustainable and distributed visitation patterns.
