Inês Santos Silva
Biography
Inês dos Santos Silva is a PhD student in Computer Science at Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), School of Engineering of the University of Lisbon, Portugal. After receiving her master’s degree in Information Systems and Computer Engineering – at Alameda in 2017, she joined the ARCADE project at INESC-ID as a junior researcher until 2020. She teached at the Escola Superior Náutica Infante D. Henrique in 2018. Also, she became a teaching assistant in Human-Computer Interaction in 2018 at Instituto Superior Técnico. Served on the organizing committee for major ACM and IEEE conferences, as student volunteer chair at ACM ISS 2020, IEEE VR 2021, and publicity chair at MUM 2022. She has authored a conference paper at CHI 2020 on her PhD.
She is a researcher at ITI – Institute for Interactive Technologies/LARSyS. Her research interests include human-computer interaction, technologies for emotional wellbeing, assistive technologies and user-centred design interfaces, especially applied to Stroke Survivors and their Caregivers and therapists.
