Biography

João Bravo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer and Informatics Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and is currently pursuing a Master’s in the same field at the same institution. He has experience in programming (C, C++, Python, Java) and has contributed to open-source projects, including the SimPy library. João is also engaged in educational initiatives, including organizing activities for youth and promoting entrepreneurship.

At ITI/LARSyS, João develops interactive web platforms and data visualization tools as part of the RELISH project, focusing on cultural heritage and European gastronomy. His work includes designing scalable web interfaces for data collection, implementing automated video coding for culinary practices, and creating visualizations that support analysis of young adults’ food routines, contributing directly to his Master’s thesis.
