Biography

João is a Ph.D. student in Computer Science and Engineering at ITI/LARSyS/IST. Previous education includes BSc and MSc degrees in Mathematics and Applications at IST.

Currently, João’s research primarily concerns machine learning and data science. In the last few years, João focused on the analysis of Non-intrusive Load Monitoring, which is also the main topic of his Ph.D. research.
