Longyue Huang
Biography
Longyue Huang (she/her) is a PhD student in the Planetary Health programme at the University of Lisbon. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from Northeast Petroleum University (China) and a Master’s degree in Product Service System Design from Politecnico di Milano (Italy), where she conducted community-based participatory research with older adults and developed digital prototypes to support intergenerational collaboration.
Her current research explores how AI in AgeTech can be ethically and meaningfully co-designed with older adults, particularly those living alone in urban contexts, to support everyday care, autonomy, and social connection.
