Biography

Luca Scibetta obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Palermo and his Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, softwer curriculum, from Politecnico di Torino, in Italy. There, he is currently pursuing his PhD within the e-Lite research group at DAUIN, where he also serves as a teaching assistant for the course “Applicazioni Web I.”

At ITI in Lisbon, his research project is about Diminished Reality applied to Digital Wellbeing, under the supervision of Professor Esteves. His work explores how this emerging technology can be leveraged to reduce technological distractions and support concentration.
