Biography

Marco Reixa (he/him) holds a degree in Graphic Design from ESAD.CR, with previous studies in Industrial Design. He is a guest assistant professor at ESAD.CR, where he teaches Communication Design, Multimedia Design, Digital Tools, Application Laboratory and Professional Practice and Ethics. He is also a designer and co-founder of Speaf, working mainly in cultural projects and digital communication.

His work focuses on the intersection of design, digital media, technology and culture, with particular interest in interaction, interfaces and the social and political dimensions of design. He is interested in exploring the notion of boundaries as a territory of negotiation, considering time, bodies and technology as active operators in design practice.
