Maritza Silva

Biography

Maritza Silva is a third-year psychology student at the Universidade da Madeira, aspiring to pursue a Master’s and a postdoctoral degree in neuropsychology and specialization in adolescents regarding the prevention of risky behaviors.

As a mother of two boys, she values compassion and ethical responsibility, which are core tenets of her personal and professional life. Her daily routines, which include walking, swimming, and practicing mindfulness, reflect her proactive nature and dedication to personal well-being, further enhancing her empathetic approach to psychology.

At ITI, Maritza Silva is an intern supporting the research team on studies conducted in Madeira for the Loga Projects. Her work involves extensive research and active participation in developing evidence-based strategies and interventions, contributing to the project’s goals.
