Mónica Mendes
Biography
Mónica Mendes is a digital media artist, designer and assistant professor at the Multimedia Art Department, Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon. She is also a researcher at ITI / LARSYS – Interactive Technologies Institute, collaborator at CIEBA – Centro de Investigação e de Estudos em Belas-Artes, coordination member of F3 college – Food, Farming and Forestry, and founding member of AZ Labs hackerspace altLab.
Interested in designing for a more sustainable world, Mónica explores creativity at the intersection of Art, Science and Technology through the ARTiVIS project.
