Biography

Nicholas is a Brazilian artist focusing on decolonizing arts and design, sharing his activities across various artistic fields such as design, music and dance. Nicholas has a PhD in Design from Umeå Institute of Design (Sweden), a Masters in Design for Sustainability from Aalto University (Finland) and a Bachelors in Product Design from FAAP (Brazil).

At ITI, Nicholas is a postdoc researcher on the Bauhaus of the Seas project, where he develops co-design processes and explores decolonial perspectives to the Bauhaus of the Seas framework.
