Biography

Nicollas Nogueira is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon. In parallel with his formal studies, he has undertaken independent training in programming and systems development. He is also working on a personal project centered on energy community platforms, applying principles of decentralized energy exchange.
As part of his research initiation at the Interactive Technologies Institute, Nicollas contributes to a project that explores energy communities through an interactive game powered by Large Language Models (LLMs). The system generates adaptive and personalized experiences to promote citizen engagement with future energy systems. The project aims to create accessible digital tools with positive societal impact in sustainability and energy literacy.
