Pedro Fontes
Biography
Pedro Fontes (he/him) holds a BA in Digital Animation and a Master’s degree in Journalism, with a special focus on animated news for children. He attended the MA Animation program at UWE Bristol, where he undertook the Pre-production for Animation module under the guidance of Luis Cook and Chris Webster.
He has several years of experience as a freelancer in the Creative & Multimedia Arts industry, developing animation projects for Spatial Augmented Reality.
His work explores projection mapping as a methodology for creating immersive narratives and expanding storytelling potential, seeking to enhancing audiences’ to perceive and engage with the enduring values of classical stories.
