Biography

Pedro Valente studied in the University of Madeira, where he finished his degree (1998), master (2008) and PhD (2017), in he area of computer science and software engineering. He works in the University of Madeira in the development of information systems since 2001, where he participated in several projects, in the roles of project manager, software analyst and designer, programmer, tester, and system administrator.
He is member of the Interactive Technologies Institute (ITI), where he carries on research related to the development of information systems by modeling and automatic code generation, using a model-driven architecture approach, applying and developing business process oriented and user-centered models e.g. his contribution The Goals Approach.
