Biography
Silvia is architect (Unifi, Italy), PhD (Técnico), her work focuses on the interdisciplinary research on the city in its adaptation to climate change from a perspective of environmental and social sustainability, exploring (i) the inclusive city, researching tools and strategies for accessibility of the built and natural environments through universal design, in the framework of the H2020 ECF4CLIM project, (ii) aspects of the city’s green structure for the promotion of biodiversity and permaculture, within the scope of urban agriculture (project Greener Técnico), and (iii) the history of urban development for the valorization of urban spaces in historical contexts and cultural heritage in collaboration with ceArq-TD (UC) and HTC (Unifi, Italy).
