Biography

Tiago (he/him) completed a BSc in Computer Science and Engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico and is currently finishing an MSc in the same field at the same institution, with only the dissertation remaining. During the master’s, one semester was spent at Aalto University in Finland under the Erasmus programme.

At ITI, within the “Technologies for Wellbeing” domain, research centres on the automatic detection of Peak-End effects. The master’s thesis investigates whether physiological signals reveal objective traces of retrospective biases during sequential music recommendations, integrating experimental design, signal processing, and machine learning methods.
