Biography

Tomás holds a BSc in Computer Science and Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, where he is currently pursuing his MSc degree within the same department. In his current academic role, he serves as a junior researcher integrated into the ERROR-MM project.

At the Interactive Technologies Institute (ITI), his work is rooted in the domain of Human-Robot Interaction. Specifically, his thesis research focuses on how robot design influences user expectations and explores how these human preconceptions ultimately compare with a robot’s true, functional capabilities.
