Biography

Vicente Simões holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from NOVA FCT and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in the same field at Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon. His academic interests include artificial intelligence, software systems, data processing, and human-computer interaction.

At ITI, he contributes to the RELISH project through his master’s dissertation. His work explores the use of multimodal and locally deployed AI models to extract structured information from cooking videos, integrate data from different online sources, and support the development and visualization of recipe digital twins.
