Biography

Viviane Peçaibes is PhD in Design (2023) by University of Porto, Master in Strategic Design (2015) and Bachelor in Design (2012) by UNISINOS-Brazil/Polytechnic of Milan, and MBA in Neurosciences and Human Behaviour by PUC/RS – Brazil (2025). She is a Contract Researcher at LARSyS/ITI. She has experience in strategic design, graphic design, emotional design, product design, service design, social design, design thinking, game design and design for mental health and wellbeing. She was awarded Top Cidadania 2013 and Top Ser Humano 2014 by ABRH – Brazil, Bornancini Award 2014 (Universal Design Category – Brazil), IF Student Award 2015 (Finalist – Germany), Honourable Mention at the 7th Ibero-American Design Biennial – Spain (2020) and Honourable Mention at the Videojogos Conference 2025 (Game-Demo).
