Biography

Ana Carolina Baptista holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, and is currently completing her Master’s in the same field at the same institution. During her academic career, she undertook a study exchange at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, focusing on digitalization strategies, and at Mines Paris, studying technology and innovation strategy.

At the Interactive Technologies Institute, she is developing her dissertation titled “Making AI Tangible to Children” within the fields of Child-Computer Interaction and Artificial Intelligence. Through this research, Ana Carolina seeks to make AI accessible for children, fostering early interest in technology and science.
