Anna Jiskrova
Biography
With a background in graphic design and illustration, she holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in visual arts. Her undergraduate thesis, NEJ, addressing the psychological impact of performance pressure, received a graduate award and was later published by Kudla Press. Her master’s project explored the concept of home, drawing from personal experience and cultural observation, culminating in an authorial book that combines reportage and visual storytelling. She currently contributes her expertise in visual communication through various educational and design-oriented roles.
At ITI, she works as a visual designer focusing on narrative, UX/UI, and the role of visual elements in educational games. She contributed to EN-JOIN, a text-based game using simplified visuals and LLM interactions to educate players on energy communities. She is also involved in designing a narrative game featuring fennec foxes to help youth understand rejection symptoms. Her work integrates art, technology, and psychology to enhance user engagement and address social and mental health issues through design.
