Biography

Diana Carvalho is an artist and researcher. She holds a degree in Painting and a Master’s in Contemporary Artistic Practices from FBAUP. Currently, she is a PhD Candidate in Fine Arts/Multimedia research focused on image production from the different human and machine points of view, as subjective and objective gazes, relating this with the transmedia presence in contemporary artistic practices.

She integrates the GAGE (Game, Art and Gender Equity) research project team. This artistic project brings together a group of people from the Arts and the Social Sciences and Humanities, both national and international, coordinated by Drs. Patrícia Gouveia and Luciana Lima.
