Isabel Leggiero

Biography

Isabel holds a BA in Information, Media, and Advertising from the University of Urbino (Italy) and an MA in Digital Humanities from the University of Genoa (Italy). Currently, she is a PhD candidate in the National PhD Program in Design for Made in Italy: Identity, Innovation, and Sustainability, specializing in Design for Inclusion. As part of her research, she explores the transmission of intangible culture through participatory design and experiments with generative AI, game-based approaches, and creativity.

She is a visiting researcher at the Interactive Technologies Institute within the LoGa Culture project. The impact of her work extends to digital activism, engaging communities in reimagining cultural narratives. By leveraging AI and co-creative processes, she aims to develop new frameworks for preserving and transmitting intangible heritage in meaningful and inclusive ways.
