Mathilde Gouin
Biography
Mathilde Gouin holds an MA in Visual Communication from Intuit Lab, Paris and an MA in Sustainable Design from the University of Brighton. Outside of Academia, Mathilde worked as a designer in social innovation to bring more innovation and human-centred approaches to UK policymaking.
Mathilde is a PhD candidate in Digital Media, where her research seeks to develop future imaginaries anchored in places through participatory and community-focused methodologies engaging minorities and exploring the potential of stories of the future in fostering radical change. Mathilde is also part of the LoGa Culture project, where she develops qualitative research methods for natural and cultural heritage sites to inform the creation of locative games.
