Matteo Cappello

Biography

Landscape Architect, he holds a Master degree in Landscape Architecture from La Sapienza University in Rome. His background is on Natural Sciences and Sustainability, having obtained a bachelor in Environmental Sciences from La Sapienza University and a Master in Sustainable Development.
He worked as research fellow with the Architecture Faculty of Lisbon University (FAUL), having collaborated in different research projects founded by FCT, namely MetroPublicNet and Intermittent City.
He is currently a PhD student in Digital Media at the Technical Institute of Lisbon University (IST), holding a CMU-Affiliated Grant, in partnership with Carnegie Mellon University.

He is involved in LoGa Culture project from ITI as researcher, where he works on the development of AR museum applications for Natural Heritage.
He is developing is PhD research at ITI under the tutorship of Valentin Nisi, working on the the application of Interactive Technologies ang Gaming for the dissemination of More-Than-Human values and Natural Heritage preservation.
