Biography

Miguel Ribeiro focused his education on informatics, obtaining a Masters in Computer Science from the University of Madeira, and following his path in Instituto Superior Técnico, completing his PhD in Computer Science and Engineering in 2023.

His work followed the area of citizen sensing, focusing on passive Wi-Fi sensors and environmental sensing as a means to use these human-related datasets to build public dashboards with processed information targeted to the visitors of specific points of interest.
