Biography

Yuxin Wu (she/her) is a PhD student in Digital Media at Instituto Superior Técnico and a researcher at the Interactive Technologies Institute (ITI). She holds an MA in Cinema and TV Scenography from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts and a BA in Scenography from the Academy of Fine Arts of Naples. Her interdisciplinary training spans scenography, immersive media, VR, and interaction design.

Yuxin’s research interests lie at the intersection of human-computer interaction, interactive media, and social experience. Her work explores how technology shapes the ways people relate to one another, with particular interests in non-verbal interaction, embodied communication, and emotional and relational experiences in digital environments.
