Biography

Marina Gomes holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Instituto Superior Técnico and is currently working on her Master’s in Computer Science, with a specialisation in Artificial intelligence and Distributed Systems, from Instituto Superior Técnico as well.

She is doing her thesis at Interactive Technologies Institute, where she is developing a socio-technical system to build an online community and foster collective social action. This work is part of the DCitizens project, in partnership with the Portuguese Center for Refugees, in the context of their community sponsorship program.
