Biography

Marta Ferreira is a communication designer and design researcher. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Design, a MA in Typographic and Editorial Practices from FBAUL, and a PhD in Digital Media from I.S.Técnico at ITI-Larsys.

Marta’s research interests lie in the intersection between different media and their communication potential. Through her PhD, she has designed interaction projects related to sustainability, particularly focusing on engaging and action-focused climate change data interactions. She is now researching HCI and design’s potential for engaging audiences with natural heritage and posthuman concepts.
